The Holdovers is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

I liked parts of The Holdovers, even if it did not fully come together. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.
