The Holdovers kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. Definitely worth recommending.

I had a great time with The Holdovers. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it.

I wanted to like The Holdovers more than I did. The pacing drags and the characters are hard to connect with.
