There were a few decent ideas in The Holdovers, but they did not add up. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. It did not leave much of an impression on me.

The Holdovers is decent overall but uneven. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Still an okay one-time watch.
