The Holdovers is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. I would gladly watch this again.

Really enjoyed The Holdovers. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

This one lost me very early and never recovered. The performances could not overcome how messy the material felt. Not something I would ever rewatch.
