The Holdovers is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it.

The Holdovers delivered from beginning to end. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. Easy five stars from me.

This one lost me very early and never recovered. The story feels unfocused and the emotional beats never land. Definitely not for me.
