The Holdovers kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it.

I liked parts of The Holdovers, even if it did not fully come together. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
