The Holdovers is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

This one lost me very early and never recovered. The story feels unfocused and the emotional beats never land. Definitely not for me.
