Tôkyô monogatari delivered from beginning to end. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. Easy five stars from me.

Tôkyô monogatari is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.
