Really enjoyed Tôkyô monogatari. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

I liked parts of Tôkyô monogatari, even if it did not fully come together. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
