The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

I had a hard time getting through The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The performances could not overcome how messy the material felt. This really missed the mark.
