The Super Mario Bros. Movie kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has some strong moments. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
