Tôkyô monogatari hooked me from the first scene. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

Tôkyô monogatari kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.
