Really enjoyed Tôkyô monogatari. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

Tôkyô monogatari is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The direction, score, and performances all worked together beautifully. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.
