Tôkyô monogatari is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

Really enjoyed Tôkyô monogatari. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.
