Really enjoyed Tôkyô monogatari. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.

Tôkyô monogatari has some strong moments. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.
