I liked parts of Das Boot, even if it did not fully come together. The premise is interesting, though the script could have been tighter. Still an okay one-time watch.

Das Boot hooked me from the first scene. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

Das Boot kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane.
