Das Boot kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

Das Boot is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

I wanted to like Das Boot more than I did. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. There were not enough standout moments to save it.

Really enjoyed Das Boot. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.
