The Great Dictator is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. I would gladly watch this again.

I liked parts of The Great Dictator, even if it did not fully come together. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
