The Great Dictator is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

Really enjoyed The Great Dictator. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

The Great Dictator worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.
