The Great Dictator kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. A strong movie night pick.

Really enjoyed The Great Dictator. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

The Great Dictator has some strong moments. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
