The Great Dictator hooked me from the first scene. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

Really enjoyed The Great Dictator. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

I wanted to like The Great Dictator more than I did. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. This one mostly missed for me.
