The Great Dictator is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The direction, score, and performances all worked together beautifully. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

The Great Dictator kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.

I liked parts of The Great Dictator, even if it did not fully come together. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Still an okay one-time watch.

The Great Dictator kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

The Great Dictator never fully clicked for me. The pacing drags and the characters are hard to connect with. This one mostly missed for me.
