The Shining kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. A strong movie night pick.

The Shining kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.
