There were a few decent ideas in Sunset Blvd., but they did not add up. The pacing drags and the characters are hard to connect with. It did not leave much of an impression on me.

Sunset Blvd. is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. Easy five stars from me.

Really enjoyed Sunset Blvd.. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. A strong movie night pick.
