Modern Times is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

There were a few decent ideas in Modern Times, but they did not add up. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. Probably not one I would revisit.
