Modern Times kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

Modern Times starts with some promise but loses steam quickly. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. There were not enough standout moments to save it.
