City of God is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

City of God is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.
