Saving Private Ryan hooked me from the first scene. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

This one lost me very early and never recovered. The weak script and uneven pacing made it hard to stay invested.

Saving Private Ryan worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent.
