Saving Private Ryan kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

Saving Private Ryan has some strong moments. The premise is interesting, though the script could have been tighter. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
