I had a great time with Saving Private Ryan. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. Definitely worth recommending.

Saving Private Ryan is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

Saving Private Ryan is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

Saving Private Ryan worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.
