I had a great time with Saving Private Ryan. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

There were a few decent ideas in Saving Private Ryan, but they did not add up. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. This one mostly missed for me.
