Django Unchained starts with some promise but loses steam quickly. The pacing drags and the characters are hard to connect with. This one mostly missed for me.

Django Unchained kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.
