I had a great time with Django Unchained. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. Glad I watched it.

Django Unchained is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. Easy five stars from me.

Django Unchained worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The premise is interesting, though the script could have been tighter. Not bad, just not especially memorable.

I wanted to like Django Unchained more than I did. A few moments work, but the execution feels flat most of the time.
