Alien is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

I had a great time with Alien. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.

Alien never fully clicked for me. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. Probably not one I would revisit.
