Alien is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. Easy five stars from me.

Alien is a very solid watch. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

Alien has some strong moments. The premise is interesting, though the script could have been tighter. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.

I had a great time with Alien. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.
