Joker kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

Joker has some strong moments. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.
