The Lion King hooked me from the first scene. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

The Lion King worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.

The Lion King starts with some promise but loses steam quickly. A few moments work, but the execution feels flat most of the time. There were not enough standout moments to save it.

The Lion King is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.
