The Lion King hooked me from the first scene. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. Easy five stars from me.

I had a great time with The Lion King. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Glad I watched it.

The Lion King has some strong moments. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.
