Forrest Gump kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it.

Forrest Gump worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
