The Godfather Part II kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. A strong movie night pick.

I liked parts of The Godfather Part II, even if it did not fully come together. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
