The Matrix hooked me from the first scene. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

The Matrix is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

Really enjoyed The Matrix. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. A strong movie night pick.

There were a few decent ideas in The Matrix, but they did not add up. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. This one mostly missed for me.
