The Matrix is decent overall but uneven. There is enough here to stay watchable, even if it never quite takes off.

The Matrix is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

The Matrix worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Still an okay one-time watch.
