The Matrix is the kind of film that reminds me why I love movies. The performances, pacing, and emotional payoff all landed perfectly. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

The Matrix is a very solid watch. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. Definitely worth recommending.

The Matrix never fully clicked for me. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. There were not enough standout moments to save it.
