I was completely pulled into The Godfather right away. The story felt confident, focused, and rewarding the whole way through. One of the strongest titles I have watched in a long time.

The Godfather worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. It lands somewhere in the middle for me.
