The Sound of Music kept me engaged for most of its runtime. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. I would revisit this one later.

The Sound of Music never fully clicked for me. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. There were not enough standout moments to save it.
