The Sound of Music worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. Not bad, just not especially memorable.

I wanted to like The Sound of Music more than I did. Some scenes look good, yet the story never builds enough momentum. Probably not one I would revisit.
