The Sound of Music kept me engaged for most of its runtime. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

I wanted to like The Sound of Music more than I did. The film feels longer than it needs to because the script keeps circling the same beats. This one mostly missed for me.
