The Thing hooked me from the first scene. The direction, score, and performances all worked together beautifully. This one absolutely lived up to the hype.

I liked parts of The Thing, even if it did not fully come together. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle.

I had a great time with The Thing. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.
