I had a great time with The Thing. There are a few familiar beats, but the execution is strong enough to carry it. A strong movie night pick.

The Thing delivered from beginning to end. Every major scene felt purposeful and the ending really delivered. I would gladly watch this again.

The Thing is a very solid watch. It balances entertainment and character work better than most films in this lane. I would revisit this one later.

The Thing is decent overall but uneven. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. Still an okay one-time watch.
