Really enjoyed American Fiction. The cast did a strong job and the story moved well. I would revisit this one later.

American Fiction worked for me in pieces more than as a whole. The performances are solid, but the emotional impact feels inconsistent. Still an okay one-time watch.

American Fiction is decent overall but uneven. A few scenes really work, but the pacing dips in the middle. I can see why some viewers would like it more than I did.
